Looting Tips

Ok this is where you find useful information if u need to loot gold from others. Looting is really one of the primary sources of income in the game. You can easily loot up to 3000 - 4000 gold a day simply if ur dedicated and follow these steps. Below are 2 mthods which are usually used:


1. This is my personal method.

a) Got to the highscores section in the game

b) Order the highscores in terms of Gold lost (ie Gold-) Once done this you will see who are the biggest losers in the game.

c) Note the number of fights lost. Ones who lose less fights and still lose loads of gold are your primary targets. These people have tons on them generally.

d) Chances are that others would have already attacked all those in the first page. hence move to the next page (100 - 200)..

e) always wise to move to the next few pages as well and always look at the number of fights lost and gold lost and make educated guesses.

f) do not fight them if u may lose unless u dont have any gold on u. Even then fight if u think u have a chance.


2. Gold lost per hour

a) Go to the highscores list of the game

b) Order it in terms of Gold Lost (Gold-)

c) Copy and paste the resulting highscores table into Notepad, Excel or Word.

d) After an hour has passed, repeat step a) b) and c)

e) Compare the gold lost in the 2 gold lost colums..

f) Those who have lost lots of gold are targets.. Hit them asap.

g) Note: Some players actually develop programs to do the calculations for them. Anyone capable of creating a program as such may PM me so that we can discuss how this can be useful to the guild.

Shouldn't this be in the 'loot' section?

I think I'll try out this method, but I doubt many of us are half as devoted as you (angela) seem to be. 3000-4000 gold? I'd be lucky if i get 500! I only usually can do like 2 battles a day...

Well its tips abt how to do something so i figured help section was where it should be.. I may b wrong of course.. Up to Thraven to move it if he feels like it though!!

Only 2 battles a day!!!??? Come on.. Loads of targets out there leaking gold daily..

Yeah, but I cant be on that long... I usually do like tavern missions, and when they are over, and I can get on next, than I fight, and do more tavern... (or I do mission time, but again usually I have to go on for the whole hour at once...)
And not all of us have 5 minutes in between battles, some have 15...

Dont keep gold on u without doing safety fights though.. It seems fine now.. U will really feel it when someone loots 100+ gold from u or more and puts u on a loot list.. Once ur on a loot list for a money hungry guild get ready for hell!!

If u dont have time to loot its fine.. You wont feel the difference now.. Go higher up in the lvl and its one stat a day.. In s2 my stats cost me 7K+ I can get there only with the help of my looting skills which I have listed above.. Keep this on topic though..

dude at least do the mission time in intervals.
you are wasting a big opportunity of earning gold and exp.

I agree with saci.. If ur not doing mission time in intervals, start now..

Sorry, but If i do than I would be losing more opportunity, because, due to obstacles, I CAN NOT BE ONLINE whenever I feel like. So by going on at a ten minute interval, I may or may not get on again, till the next day, thus wasting all of my time. Better safe than sorry!!

Well I can't say I understand the situation but as long as u do ur missions, dont lose gold and lvl up fast, I wont complain..
