Lost Heaven

Just got a forum PM from leader of Lost Heaven.. This is their link: http://world4.knightfight.co.uk/index.php?ac=showclan&showclanid=429 What do you all say?

1- checked their forum (http://lostheaven.makeforum.org/shima-maelstrom-t6.html) they are posting their losses
2- they formed allience with nearly half of the world 4, hey cmon this is a war game if you dont wanna fight go and play in the garden with your toys
3- they do know how to play as much as I can see from their stats but i am not sure about their reputation
4- In needy I do not believe they will stand aside, besides we would not need them we are way powerful then they are they did 990k with 45 wariors with a win loss ratio below 1, we did 680k with 22 our ratio is above 1,5 (thx to Angela :p)

in the light of these I can say their presence is not a gain or thier absence is not a loss for us. Personally I would not accept their offer, but from the side of politics they have good relations with many guilds. my friends friend will one day become my friend.
We must think in a wider prospect. Where would we like to see DS couple of months later. According to this we can accept or reject their offer.

My first reaction was "Great we were just discussing alliances!"
Then I read Saci's comment # 2, and have to agree, they have way too many allies - it'd be too easy to be drawn into thier troubles or have them get stuck with divided loyalties.
However, since they made the overture I am willing to enter into a NAP - and perhaps a MDT if we decide that we will be pursuing those courses.

I can think of several levels of interaction between guilds:

Peace : Most likely the result of a war - we won't attack any members of that guild.
Non-Agression Pact : we won't enter into any war with them - unless we both agree to one. (Mainly of concern once we have alliances)
Mutual Defense Treaty : If one party is attacked the other will attack thier attackers (in other words we won't be drawn into any wars they initiate)
Alliance : We work together in wars as agressors or defenders.
Neutral : no restrictions but no soecial agression either
Hostile : Not really declared to the target but attacks against this guild are encouraged, sort of a covert war.
War : does this need explained?

first, i believe saci has a point in reason no.2, they do have a lot of alliances and its too cowardly for a guild to do that. we wouldn't want to be associated with a cowardly guild. damn we're the dark stalkers, we are undeafetable!!

second, i also believe that it would be wise to agree having a NAP agreement with them or a mutual defense treaty if both parties want to have something to beneit from each other. anyways, saci has a point its not a loss if we won't accept them for allies.

Can we be allies?

Ahem,.. So what are we deciding, so far I've got 2 responses by PM abt this and both seem slightly negative.. Anyway I want to know what to tell them and I think saci should make the final decision as his first task diplomatic relations officer!! Make a poll for this 1 too..

My main reason, was cause of their light characters, and Ilike the idea of an all dark alliance thingy. But I have been reasoning with myself, and been persuaded that An MDA would be helpful, seeing as they are kinda good, and ifn we do get targeted by like the number one guild or something, it could be useful... Also Ithink it cowardly to hide behind so many allies. I would say like a MDA, but make sure they realise we may cancel it, with warning of course, If we deem it neccasary. One guild, the assassins, or dark brotherhood or something, had said that alliances were only a way for the week to peresevere. (or sumthin like that) I think that we should compromise both extremes, having only a few alliances, and maybe some MDAs or NATs.

so our final decision is also no for these fellas too.
but i still say lets wait till monday for further comments
